Thank you for your interest in supporting the CEC’s Vision and Mission. Below are some things you can do to facilitate change in the Town of Erin and to preserve the small town charm.

  • “Like” the CEC Facebook page and encourage other residents to do the same.
  • We need individuals who are comfortable going door to door to increase resident awareness of the issues we stand for and gather signatures to show a united voice to the Town’s leadership. SSMP impacts all residents of Erin.
  • Please use the Contact Us page to send us comments and to join our volunteer team (we are all volunteers making time for the issues that concern us, despite our many professional and family commitments.
  • Attend as many council meetings and other relevant events –  We need Erin citizens to show up at all town and council meetings. If we do not, it will be assumed that we are apathetic to the direction our town goes and decisions will be made accordingly.  Full list of town meetings can be found here.
  • Attend SSMP Liaison Committee Meetings. Watch for meeting updates on our website.
  • Write letters to The Advocate and Wellington Advertiser newspapers.
  • Be proactive and make informed decisions on Mayoral and Council candidates in the October 27, 2014 elections.
  • Attend CEC public meetings to find out what’s going on in the community. Information on dates and times of public meetings will be posted to Facebook, Twitter and this site.
  • Check your social media tools regularly for CEC updates.

Hi Jill, I am not sure if anyone has responded to you. If not our apologies. We are obviously doing this on a volunteer basis so some things are missed along the way. If you are willing to canvass moving forward, I will pass off your name to the person who is coordinating those efforts. We have been very successful so far but we are not done as of yet. Hopefully you will make the meeting tonight and please spread the word. Thanks.

        Hey Matt,

your talk was great and awesome that you took the time to actually see how much we are all paying over the top in taxes….we all knew it, and now we know how much more….

I had given you a business card from someone who also who also wants to get involved. Paul Tomlinson was what his card read, I think.

so what is the next course of action? I’m ready and willing to help out as are many others….waiting on your reply,

        Jill Rogers
